AP Universities Recruitment 2026 Exam Date: The Government of Andhra Pradesh is planning to conduct the the exam for AP Lecturers and Assistant Professor recruitment in August. However, multiple exams are lined up in August viz., AP TET June 2026 from August 5 to 21 and AP TRANSCO Exam 2026 from August 22 onwards. Both exams are conducted in CBT making it online test centres unavailable for AP Universities Recruitment 2026 exam. Therefore, there is a higher chance for conducting the exam either from the last week of August or first week of September 2026. However, an official announcement is yet to be made on the same.
Sri Maata Education Team contacted the APPSC regarding the exam date and officials informed that the dates are expected to be finalized in 2-3 weeks.

AP Government will declare the provisional prima facie eligibility list on July 14, and the objections/ grievances on the same shall be accepted till July 21. The final list will release on July 27. The official dates for selecting the test cities and hall ticket are yet to be notified. The applicants are advised to keep checking apuniversitiesrecruitment.apcfss.in for the latest updates.
The exam pattern for RGUKT Lecturer posts include 150 questions for 450 marks, which means each question will carry 3 marks. Each wrong attempt will lead to a negative mark of 1/3. The pattern is same for Assistant Professor recruitment as well. There is no General Studies paper (Paper 1) in the exam.
